Join us for the seminar “What Does It Mean to Be Close?”—a part of the New Proximities monthly seminar series running from August 2021 to August 2024. These meetings provide a platform for public dialogue and academic exchange on the evolving concept of proximity in relation to entities, relationships, and social processes.

Speaker:
Michel Grossetti – Sociologist and Research Director at CNRS. His work focuses on the dynamics of relationships between people or groups and on innovation activities within their geographical context.

Seminar Objectives:

Promote interdisciplinary and widely accessible academic discourse.
Explore the concept of “new proximities” through shared insights.
Foster action-research collaborations in different territories.
